A history of Espytes

1982

The company started its activity with a complete new production line for this type of parts, making an initial investment of 360,607 € in high technology machinery, and was one of the first in Spain.
From these beginnings, we started supplying main and outworking automotive companies.

1985

An investment of 721,214 € enabled another new production line with higher capacity for large sizes, and the premises increased by 400 sq. mt., with an increase in the customer portfolio, and approval from these new customers.

1989

Another investment of 480,809 € brought another production line with the same capacity as the first, with an increase in the customer portfolio and renewal of approvals.

1994

1,502,530 € was invested, 601,012 € in a new production line and 901,518 € in a new plant and industrial building investments which turned out to be very wise as they led to a considerable increase in sales and the customer portfolio.
Aptitude and quality assessments were renewed by Renault and other automotive companies.

1997

ISO - 9002 and the EAQF certificates were obtained.

1998

Another investment of 901,000 €, of which 601,012 € was for a new production line similar to the previous ones, and 300,506 € in a new industrial building.

2000

Assessments of occupational hazard started, and the EAQF and ISO 9002 certificates renewed. ISO TS 16949 was obtained in 2003.

2000/2

During the two years between 2000-2002, 1,502,530 € was invested. 751,265 € in machinery and 751,265 € in another industrial building and land adjoining the current facilities.

2002/3

Over the two years of 2002-2003, investment of 3,005,060 € were planned for a new production area and 1,502,530 € for auxiliary machinery. there was also 601,012 € for extending two industrial buildings, and 901,518 € to create two auxiliary workshops, OXINURDIN SL. and ZUOÑ SL., both in full operation.
The 3,005,060 € investment for 2001-2003 was completed.
The ISO 9001 of 2000 was reviewed, and ISO-TS-16949 obtained.

2004/5

For these two years, 2004 - 2005, a figure of 1,260,000 € was invested in new production machinery and processes using the latest technology, and a new industrial building in 2006 - 2007, totalling 1,502,530 €.

2006/7

Purchase of a new 8,000 sq mt. plant.

2008/9

Investment was made in new production lines, increasing capacity from Ø5 to Ø25, and lengths up to 240 mm.

2010/11

During this period, the company management ERP was renewed and the EDI system implemented again.
